Hi.
When opening a vst plug in in Cubase 5 I get a messages saying that I’m not using the latest version of Ezdrummer and there is also a hint: That the version I should be using is located: and then a specified path is mentioned. Program seem nonetheless to be working except for the search function. But how do I get it to work all of it.
It says to contact support for help.
Thanks.
Best regards, Christian.
What version number is shown on the EZD interface? Do you have more than one ezdrummer.dll of yoy do a Windows search?

Hi Scott.
Version 2.1.1.
Yes, it seems that there are 6 dll files when doing a windows search..
Thank you for your help.
Best regards.
Have any ezdrummer.dlls been moved manually since they were installed? I’m not sure how you could have so many ezdrummer.dlls. The EZD2 installer should have overwritten the EZD1 .dlls automatically. You should only have 2 at the most…a 32-bit and 64-bit EZD2 if you had both versions of EZD1 and installed both EZD2 versions over the top.
I would suggest manually deleting all 6 .dlls and running the latest 32-bit and 64-bit EZD2 updates (2.1.1). Or, if you only need the 32-bit (or just the 64-bit) version, just install that one. I don’t know which version of Cubase you are using (32-bit or 64-bit). Make note of the .dll install path and set that path in the VST plugin setup section in Cubase.
