I have seen lots of references to the ToonTrack site providing downloads for mapping EZD2 drums to SONAR.
Most say log in to the ToonTrack site, go to My Products and Drill down from there but I cannot see where the link is for Downloads!
After about 3 hours of searching for this I’m throwing in the towel. I’m trying to save a MIDI song in Sonar X3 in which the drums are a creation from EZD2. Problem is I get a message saying the MIDI map I’ve used (cobbled together!) will not be saved (to MIDI 1file)
Am I going about this the right way (Hoping a downloaded EZD map to Sonar will help) or do I have to mess about remapping what I get once it’s in the saved file?
Sorry this started out as a simple question but seemed to get more complicated as I poured out my plight!
There used to be user contributed drum maps available on the old website a few years ago. They are no longer available on the new site.

OK – Thanks for the update. If there is a possibility of including this info on the new site I guess it would be appreciated.
Moving on is EZPlayer a tool I could solve my problem with.
My Problem. I am using EZDrummer2 in Sonar X3 but driving an external Midi Sound Module – Ketron SD1000. I have used the SONAR Drum map manager to adjust the keys that are not compatible with GM but in trying to save my project to a MIDI 1 file in Sonar it prompts me that my midi map will not be saved.
I’m trying to reduce the time messing about because I would have to remap every time I produce a new song. I want an easy way to get my EZD2 drum midi saved in GM format. Can I do it with EZPlayer?
Thanks for help todate
I agree. Adding drum maps for popular DAWs would be a great addidtion to the downloads on this site, but it appears as though toontrack is not too interested in providing this. This is supprising given the fact of the many hours they put in to record and program these samples, it doesn’t seem like it would be too much extra work for them. and many people seem interested. Does anyone know of an outside site where drum maps can be downloaded for Cubase?
I thought this was interesting. Here is a free drum instrument that includes drum maps. Maybe Toontracks could take a page from someone who wants to make things more convenient for their customers instead of making me spend hours banging my head against the wall trying to FIGURE IT OUT!

I’m still looking for this. Can somebody who owns these drum maps please post them on a cloud service for those of us who would like obtain them? Thanks!

Thanks for the post but that does not help. There are a lot of kits for ezdrummer and I’m trying to avoid having to create them all for Sonar / Cakewalk. These used to be posted on the Toontrack site and somebody out there must own them. Just need to fine the right person and have them post them.
You provided a URL to one person who has just a couple of them for Cakewalk.
Wow this was hands down the rudest comment by a company giving to a paying customer. Sorry we’re disturbing you …
Jesus!
