    Hi Matt,

sorry you are having problems. You are on Mac, right? Which OS version exactly?
I’m running EZdrummer 2.1.1 with Southern Soul on my MBP with OS 10.10.3.

Guys your just gonna leave me hanging, Really ?
I have ditched the perhaps corrupt download (assumed you may suggest this ) and now going through the slow unnerving download again.
Forgetting about being snubbed, Seriously can anyone of you guys explain this.
Why does it say upgrade/update, what is there to update ?

    Hi,
please try re-downloading the latest EZdrummer 2 update and run it again. Then try installing the EZX again.

    Hi Matt,

are you only loading the plugin in Logic X?
Can you confirm visually that the version number displayed in the interface is 2.1.1?
Do you still have the 2.1.1 installer on your drive?
If so, can you please locate and delete the following files manually before running the 2.1.1 installer again:
    /Users/yourname/Library/Caches/AudioUnitCache/com.apple.audiounits.cache
    /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/EZdrummer.component

I deleted the 2.1.1 installer & yes as stated 2.1.1 confirmed running and i tried it in logic and in solo.
Plus my user/yourname/ NO Library ??
Over and above this problem the main problem is
why does the download take 5 hours ,Why don’t you say this upfront or now ?
    – i adopt early , so pay full price to support you guys and this is the result.
How much time should we have to waste on this.

I think John (and I) would like to see a screenshot of your EZDrummer interface.

regarding the Southern Soul expansion, I just downloaded it. Took approx. 6 minutes. 2.9 GB
in south central Pennsylvania, Amish Country, near TMI, HersheyPark….

    What are you implying ?
BTW , how quick it is for you is only another nail in this downward spiral as it shows they only care about part of the user base and not all.
Check out the pics since you seem to not take my word.Screen-Shot-2015-05-07-at-9.39.35-AM.png

I am sorry that you are having problems. I am sorry if you feel that I have implied anything. I did not mean to imply anything.
I am only asking for more information.

My download experience was provided to illustrate my belief that whatever is causing download issues for some customers
may not entirely be a Toontrack server or network issue.

Looking back at your 1st image posted, I see Logic running in the background while attempting the SS installation.
Can you please close EZDrummer, Logic and any other apps that have any connection to an EZDrummer app or plugin
and then try updating EZDrummer2 and installing the SS expansion.

I replied before your most recent images appeared in the post on my end.

I just read on another post ( http://www.toontrack.com/forum/ezdrummer-help/ezd2-download-keeps-failing/#p153004 ) that
There was a big move and update of servers last week and I guess it *may* affect downloads until mirrors and stuff are updated across the globe.

It seems to have affected many purchases, authorizations and downloads globally.
It seems that it may continue ’til some ISPs update their DNS records, etc.

PS. Seeing your list of EZD expansions, and other plugins, I have no business offering you any advise.
You’ve got much more experience than most people posting here.

Only to show you what you asked plus this happens when things take too long i need to keep working.
Not attempting to install just downloading should be ok.
Thanks for your input, i do appreciate it just very frustrated .

Sorry, I forgot to mention that since Apple decided to make the User/Library folder hidden, you need to hold down the Alt/Option key to see it.
So, in the Finder, please click ‘Go’, then hold down the Alt/Option key and your User Library will magically appear. in that list
I do this so often, I forget there’s a trick to it.
I do not understand why your download speed is that bad, Europe and US have good download speeds. I will contact you shortly via email.

I hope its got some true strong character and worth the wait. These things tend to all sound the same in the end in my recent experience.
All downloading done so will give it a go again soon. Thanks thus far.
