Hello, I downloaded EZ Drummer 2 onto my computer and moved the .dll file to path (C:)>Program Files (86x)>Steinberg>Cubase LE Al Elements 7>VST Plugins, and the file will not show up on Cubase at all. I know that I had to of done it right. Is there anything that I could be doing wrong or some way that I could fix this?
Hi,
moving or copying the .dll file is a big no-no and simply not supported.
You point your host to the location of the .dll file in its VST Search scan path.
This also requires that you are correctly pointing a 32-bit host to the location of the 32-bit version of the plugin and/or a 64-bit host to the location of the 64-bit version of the plugin.
The 32-bit plugin Default installs to ‘C:Program Files (x86)VstPluginsToontrack’
and the 64-bit Default installs to ‘C:Program FilesVstPluginsToontrack64bit’
