A strange problem, tap2find was working great but suddenly its not working anymore? “no results found” even if I just added the most simply kick rytm, but I notice if I enable “Show web shop MIDI” then tap2find works and it finds a lot of good sounding rytms.. but from expansions that I don’t own… yet…
Has my own library of expansions been corrupt in some strange way? I have updated EZ drummer 2 to the latest version, I use Logic 9 but the problem is there even if I just run EZ standalone, can somebody help me out?
Regards
/Bengt
Do you see any results when the tap2find box is empty (e.g. there’s no MIDI block in the drop zone)?
Do the other filters work (for example, do you see fills when you select Fills in the Type column)?
Do you see all your libraries under the Library column in the filters?
Many questions but it will help us to understand what’s causing the problem

Hi thanks for fast reply (sorry we can’t write in Swedish but I will try to explain)
There is no MIDI blocks in the drop zone
When I choose fills there is nothing there
Yes I see my libraries but when I choose for example EZ Drummer 2 Modern, the other columns is empty, genre, type, play style and so on.
This is the info about my setup:
“EZdrummer plug-in version 2.1.1 (build 10513) [32-bit AU]
SOUND LIBRARIES
Cocktail version 1.4.0
EZdrummer 2 Modern version 1.0.2
EZdrummer 2 Vintage version 1.0.2
Latin Percussion version 1.5.4
Nashville version 1.5.1
Pop/Rock version 1.4.0
MIDI LIBRARIES
EZdrummer 1 Demos version 1.0.0
EZdrummer 1 Pop/Rock version 1.3.2
EZdrummer 2 Modern/Vintage version 1.0.1
EZdrummer 2 Percussion version 1.0.1
EZP Free MIDI version 1.0.0
EZX Cocktail version 1.4.0
EZX Latin Percussion version 1.5.3
EZX Nashville version 1.3.0″
Something may have happened to the database that keeps track of the MIDI files. Try to reset it – in the main menu (top right corner of EZdrummer 2) select “Advanced”/”Reset Factory MIDI Database…”
Note that this will also clear the database from any custom MIDI folders you may have added, so you’ll have to re-add those.

Nice to hear!
We would like some further help from you to find out what caused the problem to start with:
Did you get any notifications from EZdrummer 2, saying that something was wrong?
Can you please send us the error log file from EZdrummer 2? You’ll find it by:
– hold on the ‘Alt’ key
– (while holding ‘Alt’ key) access the ‘Go’ menu in the Finder
– select ‘Library’ (if this entry does not appear, press alt again)
– in the Finder, browse to the folder /Caches/com.toontrack.ezdrummer2
– in that folder, please send us the errlog.doc file (if such exists) by attaching it to a reply to this forum thread.
That file may contain technical information about what caused the database to stop working so it would help us.
Thanks in advance
/Henrik

Ok, sorry for the long reply, but I haven’t had time to be in my studio… I attached the error file
