Hello there, I am new to EZdrummer 2 and Cubase so I would really apreciate some help on this one.
I am on an Acer Laptop running Windows 7, and have Cubase AI 7 installed and EZ Drummer 2. When I go into Cubase to try to locate Ezdrummer as a vst instrument im unable to see it in my vst instrument settings. Ive tried everything to resolve this issue over the last 4 weeks… Ive added the ezdrummer.dll file to Cubase VST Folder, ive even went into Cubase / Devices / Plug in information and added the folder where my ezdrummer.dll folder is located, and nothing has worked for me! I still go into VST Instruments, and can’t find EZdrummer in there at all, this has been frustrating, and i feel like ive done everything possible to try and get this working. I have EZDrummer2 with Update 2.0.2. installed, and Cubase version AI 7 which came free with my interface. Perhaps this means I need to upgrade to a better version of cubase like version artist 8?? 1
Hi,
moving or copying the .dll file manually is a sure way to get things broken quickly with Toontrack plugins. Please do not.
The correct way to do it is to add the path in Cubase to where the .dll is located.
If you have installed both 32-bit and 64-bit versions, you need to make sure you point Cubase to the right one. Pointing a 64-bit host to a 32-bit plugin version or vice versa will not work as expected.
Do you have any other 3rd party VST instruments installed and working?
