does anyone know if sounds coming out of ezx reggae already have been compressed ( tube comp … ect ..) are the SOUNDS raw enough ?
I would like to compress each snare, kick and them send them to bus compressor
but im worry about wav quality loose .
can any one help I cannot find any info about the session and what type of gear they use to process thru the drum kits …
did they drive hard enough so we don’t have to do it ,
or is up to us to do so ?
many thanks
All EZXs have some processing in the samples. Whether or not your song/mix/sound/production would benefit from more is entirely up to you.

In my humble experience, using one’s ears is the best judge as to what processing needs to be done to make a particular instrument fit into a particular track.
