Hello all,
Recently I got a new pc on which I reinstalled Cubase 5 and EZdrummer 1.4.0. Now I want to work on an unfinished song, which I recorded on my old computer, so I transferred the files to open the same project on my new pc, but when I play back the song, the present drum parts on the drum track play back at half speed and tend to miss certain hits on the drums. I checked the tempo switch (1/2x, 1x, 2x) in EZdrummer. All the other tracks (bass, guitar, vocals) just work okay and go in correct speed. The BPM-settings are also the same as in the old project.
The weird thing is, that when I click on a groove in EZdrummer, it just plays like it should and in the correct BMP-speed. When I start the song and click on a random groove so EZdrummer plays along in real time with my song, all the speeds are correct.
I reinstalled older versions to match the exact situation on my previous computer: didn’t work.
I installed correct EZdrummer-updates: didn’t work.
I started a new project from scratch and added drums: didn’t work.
I opened other songs to see if they have the same problem: didn’t work.
I work with Windows 7 (64 bit system) and I set my song projects in Cubase at 44.100 and 16 bits. I work with the 32 bit update from EZdrummer
I have no idea what I’m doing wrong, so if anyone has the slightest idea: please help me!
Thank you!
Steven
