I have been using EXMix mastering expansions for some time now and I really like them for mastering. However, has anyone had success using multiple presets together or was the product designed only to apply a single preset to a mix for mastering purposes?
Less is more…
Seriously, logic says the Mastering Presets were not meant to be applied in sequence but as always, rules are meant to break and the only one that can decide what’s right or not for your music is you and your ears.
It would very much depend on the material; density, loudness, frequency curve, stereo image, etc. and what type of Presets you apply.
