How to keep EZK focus?

I’m guessing there must be a setting for this somewhere but can’t find it.
When opening a text document (or giving it focus where I can see it) it stops EZK playback…how does one work with lyrics in a situation like this?
Is there a way to keep EZK playing and have a text doc open at the same time?

EDIT: oops my bad, this doesn’t happen in stand alone so it must be my host.

Using the installation defaults (i.e., I made no changes to any Preferences),
I have no problem typing in a text document or using any other application on my MacBook Pro while EZKeys is playing in the background
in standalone or as an instrument in Logic Pro X or Pro Tools 11.
I’m not sure why you wouldn’t as well or what setting would cause your issue.

Thanks, I edited my initial post after discovering it works fine in stand alone…I’ll try to find out why it does it in my host.

what host are you using?

Sonar X3 but I just found out it was because I had “share drivers with other programs” checked.
I unchecked and it works as expected.
