How is that possible? I tried using a gate on for example the OH channel but its easy to strangle the cymbal and make it ring too short and end abrubtly. I need to control the exact length of the crash cymbal but without it sounding strangly short. Default seem to long though on some of the cymbals… How would you go about controlling this? I use Dfh with EZdrummer 2 in Cubase Elements 7.
The Mute Hits can be controlled via velocity, check the MIDI Layout PDF which ones are. If you use the regular Cymbal hits, they can be choked via Aftertouch; either via controller or if you draw the data in Cubase.
