Hello I’m using EZMix 2 as a plugin in Fruity Loops 11. The sound is great.
The problem I’m contending with is that the setting I’m using for vocals “Vocal Edge” adds a very loud hiss to the track when it’s activated. What’s worse is that I’m using it on different mixer channels simultaneously and it just gets louder with each one.
What causes that and is there any way to stop it?
I’m attaching an MP3 file that have 4 seconds of hiss then I turn off the plugin and for 3 seconds then back on. It may not sound very loud however when you have several channels using it simultaneously then it gets much more noticeable. Also adding a spectral view of the hiss from the .wav.
Thanks
My guess would be it’s the tape simulator that is included in the preset. Or, a combination of the tape simulator and the compressor/exciter. Since the ‘Edge’ knob affects multiple effects, there doesn’t seem to be a way to adjust the tape sim and compressor setting separately.

Thanks. I hadn’t even noticed that. But I assume there’s no sort of editor or way to turn it on / off. Correct?
