Good Evening,
I was dealing briefly with email support on this, but that has seemed to fizzle out (ie: they stopped responding), so I thought I’d try out the forums.
Here’s the thing: My computer for whatever reason- I am still trying to find things out from Cockos and Microsoft- won’t recognize ASIO drivers in 64 bit. They cant be seen in Reaper, not will 64 bit EZD2 run in standalone mode. So, I have tried to run in 32 bit Reaper. 32 bit Reaper sees the ASIO drivers just fine. UNTIL I start EzD2. Then hard crash. So bad, that it completely blows up the audio drivers and I need to reboot.
So, the problem is- cant use EZd2 in 64 bit in the DAW, cant use it in 32 bit in the DAW, can’t use it 64 bit standalone, CAN use it 32 bit standalone.
What I have done thus far:
uninstalled and reinstalled EzD2
updated to the latest version
uninstalled/reinstalled latest version of reaper
updated Line 6 drivers (ASIO)
updated ASIO4ALL
disabled my onboard sound card- running solely through the Line 6 i-face
Anyone having a similar issue? Again I am talking with other companies about this since I’m not sure this is actually a Toontrack issue, but it is EZD2 that is crashing out my comp.
