Can this not be used in PT M-powered 8? It doesn’t show up in any plugin areas and it took away my other ezmix 1

DTX Express III (Extreme triggers), Nektar LX88
OWC Thunderbay Mini (4 X 1TB Sata SSD), Express 4M2 (4 X 2TB M.2 SSD), Envoy Express (1TB M.2 SSD)
Presonus Quantum, Faderport & Faderport 8

I am running windows 7 64-bit and Pro Tools M-Powered 8.0.5 for Windows. That was the last update. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide Brad.
That should work, could you please try re-installing and then verifying you have the ezmix.dpm RTAS plugin in the Plug-Ins folder?

So you have no ‘ezmix.dpm’ file in the ‘C:Program FilesCommon FilesDigidesignDAEPlug-Ins’ folder after a re-install?

I will do a re-install when I get home but at the moment, no that’s not in there. If it still doesn’t show up after re-install what should I do? Thank you John for the help by the way.
We’ll get you there sooner rather than later… I do hope you are running the 32-bit installer as well as the 64-bit installer? Since Pro Tools 8 is a 32-bit application it needs the 32-bit RTAS component.

Aha!! I bet thats the issue. I only did the 64bit. I forgot about that. Thanks again John. I will give it a go.
Cheers
That was it!!! The second I loaded the 32bit version both 1 and 2 were there. In the EZmix2 platform of course. I have to say though I have loved all of my toontrack products up to this point. I am not sure if I am using it wrong but…I have recorded all my guitar and bass tracks using amplitube 3 (The Engl amp) I was hoping that it would be like the EZmix1 presets where it punches up the track already recorded and makes it sound amazing. Well, I used the guitar presets and it made them sound horrible and hollow. Am I using it wrong or something? Because the amp in amplitube sounds 1000 times better by itself without anything on it at all. The guitar presets sound nothing like on this website for some reason. Any idea why this would be?
Are you maybe using guitar presets that use amp sim a second time?
