I know the specs for EX2 state for Intel based machines 10.6+

Has any one had any experience installing it on a PowerPC? I have a still hot Mac PowerPC 10.6.8 that still does everything I ask of it and produces fabulous recordings. I really hesitate updating. Every time I update something, I get more problems than advantage. I would buy EZ2 if I knew it would run.

I suppose that you’re aware that it’s not supported (see the attached chart),
and you not only have to consider your architecture & OS, but your DAW as well.
but why not download the demo and check it out for yourself?

Thanks, I might do that.

I suppose, I might be overly cautious but I was wondering if anyone has actually tried to do it and if there was any overall experience with it. I have heard of other so called Intel Only software that has worked on PPCs. I don’t really have enough time to spend with major experiments. I wish I did. I have so many projects I am in the middle of and I was hoping to get some wisdom before I took the time needed to delve into it.

Sorry, EZdrummer 2 does not work on PowerPC.
