Additional Articulations

Hi.
I’m loving every bit of EZdrummer 2, but I’ve got a small request, which I hope could be incorporated into the next update; Though not an articulation in itself, I was hoping to
have ‘FLAMS’ as an additional articulation on the list of the options in the ‘Edit Play Style’ mode. It would really be a cool feature to have.

This is a feature I’ve requested, as well.
What I do in the meantime is this…

Create the pattern I want, including the hit I want as a flam, but as a single hit, and then drag it from the timeline to the Tap2Find drop zone, bring that up and set the quantize to None.

Next I start Tap2Find and when the spot I want the flam comes around, I click on the drum and basically try to get the flam I want. If the hit I add isn’t up to snuff, I cancel out of T2F and the go back in and repeat until I get what I want.
Once you do, drag your new pattern to the timeline and viola! You have your flam. I’ve done this a lot and to works quite well. You can even use the scissors tool to snip just a good flam you like and store to in your custom user section of the browser and then drag into future grooves. If you wish have the flam on a part of the kit different than it currently uses, just copy the midi from one drum to another.
