No big dramas, as EZdrummer 2 seems to be working fine.
Just a question, I just bought & installed Americana and Rock EZX. I then opened EZdrummer2 via the host (Reaper), clicked on the new drums where it prompted me to authorize the new EZX’s. I did so, and now look in “My Products” and I can see they are registered to my PC and Computer ID, and display an authorisation code.
As do all my EZkeys and EZMix product(s).
However when I look at EZD2, and the POP/Rock kit that came with it, in “My Products” I can see they are registered to my PC and Computer ID, however it does not show the authorisation code, and instead states ‘Authorisation file’ with a download button. When I click on the download button, it wants to open or save a TTauth file, which I don’t know what do to with?
What am I missing here, and can anyone advise why the EZD2 and POP/ROCK no longer show the authorisation code?
Hi,
no problems, that file is for offline authorization. If you are online, the plugin prompts you and you fill in the serial and your Toontrack account credentials and it is taken care of. More automatic and less chances of errors with typing or not copying the entire serial. All part of the newer Auth scheme.

Thanks John.
i think i understood the offline authorization bit.
What puzzles me a little is in MY PRODUCTS:
1. EZdrummer 1, Americana & Rock EZX, as well as all my EZmix and EZkeys products SHOW the authorization code when i authorized them online.
2. However Ezdrummer2 and Pop Rock DO NOT SHOW the authorization code, just an option to download it despite previously the both showed the authorization code before i installed Americana & Rock EZX.
i thought it should show the authorization code if i have authorized the product and have it working via VSTi and standalone?
