Did you create a key command for “Edit VST Instrument” ? Are you trying to use the key command while the track is selected or while you have the instrument panel (F11) open? 32 bit or 64 bit? can you post exact steps to recreate and I will give it a whirl? Thanks.

Intel 13900K, Windows 11 , Cubase Pro 13.0.30, Studio One 6.2.1.64495, 64GB RAM, UA Apollo x4 and UA Apollo X8 Thunderbolt,, 64 sample buffer size, Radeon 570, 42″ 4k monitor

MIDI controller: Roland A-37, Jamstik Studio, MCU Pro + expander
Drum Brain: Yamaha DTX 900, RHH135 hihat, 2 crash and 1 ride cymbal, 4 toms.

Thanks! Yes “Edit VST Instrument” although I tried it using a key command for a workspace with EZD open as well with the same result. While the track is selected, no instrument panel open, 64 and 32bit. Again,if i open EZD first from the track inspector with the mouse, all subsequent key command openings are fine, it’s just the original key command attempt that causes a crash.

Are you using a track or rack instrument? I don’t normally work that way, but I tried it with a track instrument and it didn’t crash. I loaded a template with EZD2 in it.

Are you using the latest cubase? 7.5.20?

I’m using it with Cubase 7.5.20 as a rack instrument.
