Hello, All
Hope everyone is ready for the weekend!
I just got EzDrummer2 and a Maschine Mikro – I’m trying to use the Mikro as a contoller for EZD2
1. I am in Midi mode on the Mikro and have the control editor up
2. I have the Mikro linked to EZD2 and am getting sound for cymbals but in a very weird layout
3. Is there a template or a list of midi controls for EZD2 that I can use to assign the pads to the drums or a template or something? i did try to use this but the midi channels aren’t listed in a way that works with the Mikro control editor? http://www.vettaville.com/ezdrummer_midi_keyboard_layout.htm
Anyone have any experience with this?
Thank you,
Dustin
Hi Dustin,
You can find EZdrummer 2’s MIDI layout by clicking Menu > Sound Libraries > (select the sound library that you are using) > then click MIDI layout. The MIDI layout will tell you what notes trigger the samples.
MIDI notes can not be remapped inside of EZDrummer 2 and any changes to mapping must be made inside of the MIDI controller itself.

how does that work with channels -I see C1 is Bass kick but what is like 40 for snare equivalent like B0 or G0 or F#O? I under stand that C1 is middle C but not sure about the rest? IE 40(snare) eaquals E? We are getting close – thanks for the help
I can put 40 in the channel number instead of C1 etc. so I am good – works like a charm – now I can customize the mikro pads to work with ezdrummer2 – problem solved(or just figured out) – I still wish there was a template I could load but at least ill be making my own— Thanks Again ToonTrack Have a great weekend!
