EZ Drummer core base missing from EX Drummer2?

I purchased EZ Drummer for my laptop last year and upgraded to 2 when the update became available. I just bought a new desktop and installed EZ Drummer 2, but it seems to be missing a lot of the loops. Should I have installed the 1st edition of EZ Drummer first and is that why i’m missing so much? Thanks.

Being a former EZdrummer 1 user you have been automatically registered for the Pop/Rock EZX which is available for download from your account. This will give you all the sounds and grooves available in the original EZdrummer.

Ok, I downloaded the Pop/Rock EZX from my products page on Toontrack and when I ran the updater I got this message:

“Install Error
Your library seems damaged. You must will need to reinstall the full product before applying this update.”

So, what do I need to do now?

Hi Zach,

Please make sure that you are trying to install the full version of the Pop Rock library (and not the update).

Please see the attached picture.

Ohhh ok. Will everything still work even though I downloaded the update first? Or do I need to uninstall the update and THEN install the Pop Rock library, then install the update again? (Sorry, i’m somewhat new to all of this.)
