    Hi,

if you uninstall EZdrummer 1 using Add/Remove Programs, you will lose your EZdrummer 1 core package, the POP/ROCK EZX.
There’s no harm in leaving it, since the EZdrummer 2 plugin has replaced EZdrummer 1.

Hi John, Thanks for your reply, that’s what i thought except when i opened up an old cubase project in witch i had used EZdrummer1 the old instance was still there sounds, graphics and all? i was under the impression that if i opened up an older project the new instance would appear but loaded would be the old pop ezx etc etc.

    cheers Peter

    Hi,

then you have moved or copied your ‘ezdrummer.dll’ file post initial install and have at least 2 such dll files on your system.
I suggest you perform a Search for ‘ezdrummer.dll’ on your system and delete all entries that come up, then re-install EZdrummer 2.0.1.
Search once again and this ‘ezdrummer.dll’ location you tell Cubase to include in its VST scan path.
