I posted this a few weeks ago, but it didn’t show up anywhere… apparently it is still awaiting moderation. So my apologies if it shows up twice.
I know I can export stereo audio to a wav file from EZD2, however I want to export the individual tracks from the mics (i.e. kick, snare, OH, room etc) so that I can mix them in Cubase Elements as if it were a live drum session.
I’ve watched a YouTube video where a guy does exactly this (with the older EZD) into ProTools. But he was able to set up ProTools audio track input routing from EZD output routing – presumably from each of the output channels that get set up when you select “Multi”. However I can’t find a way to do this in Cubase Elements 7, nor can I find a way to output the individual tracks from EZD2 to wav files. It would be nice to do it directly into the DAW, but outputing the tracks to disk would certainly work.
Great product by the way.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Joe,
The best way to mix the individual tracks from EZDrummer 2 in Cubase would be to launch EZDrummer 2 as a plugin in Cubase and then use the Multi out routing in EZDrummer and Cubase to route each Mixer channel in EZDrummer 2 to a channel in Cubase. This video shows how to setup EZDrummer 1 for multi outs with cubase. The process will be exactly the same for EZD2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRL6FnJGJJE
If you really don’t want to do this, and you would prefer to use audio tracks… you can use EZDrummer 2 in stand alone and solo a single channel in the mixer, then export as a wave. Then solo another channel and export… continue this process until you have exported every channel.
Then you could import these files into cubase.

Thanks Michael:
I guess the second part of your reply is my answer. I already use EZD2 in Multi mode and set up the channels on my Cubase MixConsole. But I was indeed talking about exporting audio. So the secret is to export one track at a time from the standalone version – thanks very much for your help.
