Hi
I want to make a snappy folk song with a 6/8 rythem. Um — ka-ta-ka-ta – Um — ka-ta-ka-ta – Um — ka-ta-ka-ta — you know?
In order to get the jumpy speed I want, I have to raise the bmp in my DAW to 200, to make any of new ezd2 grooves work. The old ezdrummer also has some 6/8 grooves which work perfect to 100 bpm. Actualy the ezd2 6/8 grooves are half time of the ezd1 grooves. is there a way to make them double time without midi editing?
I tried turn off “follow host” and let ezd play with 200, while the daw is on 100, but ezd doesn’t react to the DAW start/stop button as well.
ideas? cheers!
Michael
In the Midi Song Blocks edit window, there is a little ‘3 line drop down button’ in the right corner that brings a menu down when you click on it. There is a menu item labelled ‘adjust tempo’ in the list. From there you can tell the selected midi to play in ‘double tempo.’
You can click it a second time to double the tempo of the selected midi again (4x faster than original…)
Hope this helps.
