Could you open Terminal and run this command, please:
    /Applications/Toontrack/EZdrummer.app/Contents/MacOS/EZdrummer -log ~/Desktop/EZdrummerLog.txt

That will start the standalone and make it create a log file named EZdrummerLog.txt on your desktop. When the icon has been bouncing for 10 seconds or so, you can force quit EZdrummer, open the log file and post the contents here. Thanks.

It seems like it does not get past scanning MIDI devices. Do you have any MIDI device you could try to disconnect to see if that helps?

Thanks again, Olof. I realized that I didn’t have any MIDI devices connected before; just the Pro Tools 11 Rack & keyboard. I connected a MIDI device (Akai controller) & it took a very, very long time to load up. Anything else I can try? Maybe another Terminal command?

So you got it to start after a long wait? When you have it running, please go to Settings menu – Audio/MIDI Setup – MIDI Device and let me know what devices are listed there. Also try the Rescan Devices button – does it make the program freeze for a while?

Yep, I can get it to start after a long wait, Olof. It says no MIDI Input devices are found under MIDI Device under the Audio/MIDI Setup. The AKAI Sampler is connected but is unable to trigger any sounds. When I click Rescan Devices, nothing happens. Thanks again, Olof.
