OS X 10.8.5, Mac mini 2.5GHz i5, 100GB free disk space I can download the dmg and mount it successfully after verification (I have done this three times now). I get to the administrator verification (username and password) and then it simply hangs on the “Preparing for installation” and spinning barber pole.
