So if I add a groove into the track lane, and go into the play-style editor, and the hi hat is doing like a closed-closed-closed-open-closed-closed-closed-open sort of figure, if I set the hi-hat articulation to anything else, it puts ALL the hats hits onto one track, instead of the 2, open and closed variations that it was on.
Is there, or will there be a way to add in how many and what different hat variations you want? At this point, I’m assuming you’d have to put it in your DAW, change the note, and then put it back into EZD. There should be a way to mouse click notes into place on the track lane, for the reasons above, and also because I’m apparently not coordinated or have timing enough to ‘tap2find’ anything accurately.
I’d slice the groove where I want to change the one articulation.

But can you do that on like 1/8th or 1/16th of a bar? It seems I can only split at like half measures, but I’ll check again with zooming in.
Thanks for the advice.
You can zoom in the most by clicking the + button of the right side of the track!
