First of all congrats on an absolutely storming release. Everything pretty much works as advertised, it’s quick, versatile and sounds great.
Some early requests for the Edit Play Style page:
1. It’s not currently possible to record into this, as you can from the normal tabs. That would be excellent for adding simple things to build up a groove. Icing on the cake would be to have record quantize enable / disable,.
2. In addition to Amount and Velocity knobs, I’d love Quantize options on the same per-selected-instrument basis.
Thanks guys, loving the product so far.

If you right-click a drum in Edit Play Style you will get a menu where you can Quantize amongst other things.

Thanks Erik, terrific – hadn’t spotted that.
So as well as the ability to record straight in to the edit play style page, one other thing that would be useful is a little addition to the Amount control. I love the musical options it offers for the main kit parts, but I wonder if we could have a very few stock patterns as well. So, say, on a ride cymbal you might have the musical 4 option, plus 4 on downbeat and 4 on backbeat. Obviously you couldn’t have too many or else it would get pretty unweildy, but a few of the very basics on 4 and 8 would be great for super quick stuff like adding hi hat pedals on 4s etc.
Oh, and one more – swing control for quantize (maybe a handful of default useful amounts?)
