Hi,

EZdrummer 2 will include a specific Yamaha Edrum preset.

Thanks. Just want to make sure the mapping is correct. It’s not in SD2.

Intel 13900K, Windows 11 , Cubase Pro 13.0.30, Studio One 6.2.1.64495, 64GB RAM, UA Apollo x4 and UA Apollo X8 Thunderbolt,, 64 sample buffer size, Radeon 570, 42″ 4k monitor

MIDI controller: Roland A-37, Jamstik Studio, MCU Pro + expander
Drum Brain: Yamaha DTX 900, RHH135 hihat, 2 crash and 1 ride cymbal, 4 toms.

The Yamaha preset in EZDrummer 2 will be exactly the same as the preset in Superior Drummer 2. Therefore is the mapping is not correct for your specific Yamaha module you will need to change the mapping in the module itself as EZDrummer does not allow mapping changes in the software.

Thanks. As far as I know this is the default Yamaha mapping for its drum series. Other products like addictive drums, Steven slate drums and BFD have it right. It used to be right in SD 2 but was changed on one of the last updates. I know because I use them all. Hopefully toontrack will consider updating it, so I don’t need to create new presets in my module and then need to use drum maps to convert after recording if I want to use different sounds.
