Hello,
I have bought EZ DRUMMER on 12/03/2014 and saw today there was an update. So I downloaded it. Then tried to install it. “The install process” told me i needed to UN-Install the previous Version. i did that. Then treid to install the update again. Now it is complete mess!
EZ DRUMMER can not be installed again.
ERROR 1309. ERROR FROM READING FILE:
C/users/nicholas/appData/ Local/Temp/Temp1 TT 106 EZ Drummer_win. zip/ EZ Drummer _Win/Installprogram” … … and so forth …
“VERIFY THAT THE FILE EXISTS AND THAT YOU CAN ACCESS IT”
What On earth does this mean????
Why does it not work????
Why do simple UPDATES often tend to destroy running programms?
HOW CAN I FIX IT????
If you receive an error message containing ‘Error 1309′, this is because you are attempting to run the installer without extracting the downloaded zip archive. Please right click the downloaded zip file and choose ‘Extract all’. We strongly recommend using Windows’ built in extraction tool for this.

HI ,
thank you for replying!
I did extract the downloaded Update. It was extracted to
C:Users
icholasDownloadsTT106_EZdrummer_WIN
and then in the “INSTALL” file of running EZDrummer.EXE comes the failure notice ” another version of this product is already installed, please uninstall before ….”
So before I go through the same procedure again: do I realy need to Uninstall EZDrummer before I can install the Update???
In the “READ ME ” file Toontrack explains ” Simply run the executables below and follow the instructions”
Why dont they tell that the User must Uninstall the old vcersion first, is this part of the Update Install Instruction?
I find it kind of awkward….
Best regards
Nick
