I am using EZDrummer triggerred by my Yamaha DTX562K. When I use EZDrummer standalone(with Toontrack Solo) I have an Options menu that allows me to choose a controller (the DTX562K). In this mode everything works great; midi notes appear to be mapped almost entirely correctly. When I use EZDrummer as a plug-in with Garageband, I don’t have the option to select the controller. It uses the default, and then the mappings appear to be off quite a bit. In most cases I this is not a show-stopper because I can go in and change the midi notes on the drum module, but the hi-hats, for some reason, I can’t seem to get right. And that’s a bummer. If I could simply make the default controller e-drums when EZDrummer is used as a plug-in, it would solve my problems. Is there a way to do this? Thanks.
