Install appears to complete, program appears in control panel/programs and features (I can uninstall it), but there’s no executable on my machine. Is this a problem with Windows 8.1? Same problem with both the full and lite versions.
EZdrummer is a VST plugin that needs a host to run in (Cubase, Pro Tools, et al). Or you can use Toontrack’s host Solo.

Are you loading EZdrummer in a compatible host program?
See the ‘Compatibility’ tab on the product page here:

I’m a bit late but RealBand scans DirectX instruments and effects by default. For VST/VSTi you must open the DX/VST Window (DXi/VSTi Synth button) and add each VST/VSTi plugin you plan to use individually using “Add VSTi plugin…” in the drop down list. Once a plugin has been choosen, it’s supposed to be always available. I didn’t find any place in RealBand to set the VST path but it seems to remember the last path you choose a plugin from. I didn’t test drag’n drop from EZ drummer to a RealBand track though, RealBand is not my main DAW, I have it because it came with Band-In-A-Box and it is not on the same computer than EZ drummer. I have the 2014 version of RealBand.
