I did a mistake by transfering my old files and patches over to my new PC BEFORE installing Toontrack and Reaper. I think that’s the problem. The solution would probably be to remove Toontrack, but I don’t want to! I’m a total idiot when it comes to computers. I have absolutely every thing else working in perfect order, but I totally messed up Toontrack, installing it and authorizing it…

I am sorry but there is no other way to install EZdrummer and EZX’s on a new PC than to install them with their respective installers.
No manual copying or moving, it will only mess things up.

    Best Regards,
    John

I’ve tried to download and install a new version, but this is what I get when I try to install it.
    I’m running Windows 8.

    Error in EZDrummer installation:

Error 1309. Error reading from file:
    C: /USERS/OLEJRG ~1/AppData/Local/Temp/ZzO839C. tm p/program
Files/Toontrack/EZDdrummer/HelpMenu/EZCORE.pdf Verify that the file exists and
    that you can access it.

I’ve finally given up on downloading and I’ve ordered a new version of Toontrack on CD. Hopefully that solves the problem.

That message is because you are not Extracting the archive before running the installer; you are browsing the ZIP file.
Extract fully before running (right-click and select ‘Extract all…’)

Hi, I am trying to get superior drummer to work on my windows 7 PC. I have installed the cd two times and each time I try to load it into reaper, it tells me that I have to set the path of the sounds. How do I do this?

    Thank you for your help

Please download the full product installer from your Toontrack account (the red ‘PC’ button). Unzip and run the appropriate installers.

Download and install any updates well.
