Hi all,
I’ve installed EZDrummer 1.32 onto a Mac OS X 10.8.4 iMac, and then run the 1.33 upgrade. When choosing the EZdrummer plug in, I receive an error as below:
“EZdrummer cannot find the sound files!
Reinstall EZdrummer or move the sounds to:
/Library/Application SUpport/EZDrummer/Sounds/EZDrummer”
I did a standard install first which seems to have installed all the samples to /Library/Application SUpport/EZDrummer/Sounds, I then created a folder called EZDrummer under ‘Sounds’ and used the SoundMover application to move the sounds there. The application says it was successful but launching ProTools again brings up the error above.
Could anyone please shed some light on this?
Regards.
Hi,
I am sorry but the only reasonable thing to do right now is to:
1) Delete the ‘EZdrummer’ folder in /Library/Application Support
2) Install EZdrummer from the Full Download installer package (big red MAC button on the product page in your account) – ‘TT106_EZdrummer_MAC.dmg’
3) Run the latest updater – ‘EZdrummer_Update_MAC_133.dmg’
