Have you downloaded the full product from your Toontrack account (the red ‘Mac’ button) or did you just install the update?

    Scott,
Having trouble sending you a private message…
    Could you email me directly?

I’ve checked your Toontrack account and it doesn’t look like you’ve downloaded anything since 2011. The full product download is named ‘TT106_EZdrummer_MAC.dmg’. Or, can you tell me the name of the file you’ve downloaded and tried to install?

In addition, please fill in your system specs on your member profile page so we know the specific details of your system.

That’s odd bc I don’t believe I had a toontracks account in 2011. I received EZ drummer last night for my bday. I have a Mac air with os Mac OS 10.6. I registered my product and when I logged in I went to my products and then downloaded the link provided along with three updates. I then installed the downloads. GarageBand recognizes the EZ drummer software but EZ drummer cannot find the sound files. I will provide the exact names of the downloads.

Ok. I checked our database via your email and found you. It does look like you’ve downloaded the correct downloads.

Did you also install Toontrack Solo? If so, does EZdrummer load in Solo?

I don’t use a Mac so I can’t offer any first hand help. Have you checked the Support Portal FAQ:

Toontrack solo gives me the same error message about the sound files not being found.

Have you heard of this issue before? I did some research online and found other EZDrummer users having difficulty finding the sound files, but I never found a resolution.

Not sure what else to do at this point.

I found the resolution to the problem. I uninstalled all EZDrummer downloads and started fresh. I put the EZDrummer disc into the disc drive to re-install the software. I selected “Customize” on the standard install screen. Then I selected to download the RTAS file and none of the other files. I proceeded with the download and then loaded on Garageband like normal and voila- EZDrummer loaded. I then installed EZCocktail and Toontrack Solo. I did not download anything from the Toontracks website. Hope this helps anyone who is having a similar issue.

    Hi,

if you haven’t downloaded anything from your Toontrack account, you are not up to date. Please download and install the latest EZdrummer update.

    BR,
    John

*EDIT* Oh, I see from the log above that you indeed have the 1.3.2 update downloaded. So, if that is the version number reported in the plugin interface, you’re updated.
