I generally use SD2, but am going to be traveling and can’t fit all the big Sd2 installs on my MacBook Air. I loaded all my EZ drummer kits instead, but there are not many presets with EZ Drummer kits. Can I use the producer preset packs with EZ Drummer, or maybe open EZ Drumer kits within SD2 and use the presets on them that way?
Hi,
short answer is: No.
You can, of course, Save an Avatar Combined Preset like ‘Big Drums > Big Rock’ as a Project file and Load as Combined Preset with e.g. the POP/ROCK EZX but you can only load the Mixer and it will not sound as intended.
EZdrummer mixer Presets can be opened in Superior 2 but I guess that’s not exactly what you asked about.

Ok thanks. I just took a cursory look around in EZ Drummer and for each kit, I only saw a few presets; Dry, Flat, ambient etc, a few like that. I looked in the Manual to see if I was missing where there are more but didn’t see anything. Is that pretty much it for supplied presets for the various EZ kits? Thanks…
I realize there’s a different approach I was thinking about. Using SD2, opening the EZX kits within SD2, and using the SD2 presets on them. I’m working on a project now that I realize I’m actually doing that in!
