    Hi,

the short answer is: you don’t.
The EZdrummer plugin receives tempo information from the host, so Tempo is adjusted in your host.
If you are using EZdrummer in Toontrack solo, the Tempo is adjusted in Toontrack solo’s Mixer window.

Thanks for that John, I thought that was the case but I can adjust the tempo in Reaper easily enough.

I have EZ Drummer and my DAW is Reaper. I have several tracks just for the drums so each drum/cymbal is on it’s own track. Is there a way to toggle between showing those tracks on my DAW or consolidating then into one so I don’t see them. I’d like to be able to bring them up when I need to so some mixing on the drum set but then hide them somehow since they take up so much room on my screen. Thanks again.

Oh, I’m really not the guy to ask about Reaper specific stuff. Hopefully Scott or user planetnine can chime in here…

I believe there are folder tracks in Reaper so you can put all drums channels in one folder track.

Thanks for the help so far, when I get down to the studio I’ll check it out and see what I can do. Thanks.

“the Tempo is adjusted in Toontrack solo’s Mixer window”

Really? Where exactly? I see no tempo control in the Mixer. You must be talking about MIDI grooves.

Toontrack Solo is a different older product.

The Tempo is adjusted in the Transport Area next to the Record/Click button when using EZD2 in Standalone mode.

When using EZD2 in your DAW, your DAW controls tempo and EZD2 will follow your DAW (follow host will now be seen in the Transport area of EZD2).

Any other Tempo references are in the top panel of the Browser/Search Tab which adjust the feel of a Midi Bock, not exactly a tempo adjustment though as it implies.

*just realized you’re on an older version of EZD, not sure if this entirely applies to you.

Thanks! It does not seem to apply to Solo.

I did not use EZ Drummer for a while, then came back to it on a different computer, and the EZ Drummer did not work any more, just Solo.

I see. If I had EZD1 installed I’d check it for you, sorry.

This is a long shot, i’m not a PC expert. Have you tried compatibility mode when launching EZD1?
