level of the ride cymbal

Hi – I am a bit new here and my first question is : why cant I control the ride level on the mixer? there is no mic there, and I cant put a mic there? i only have room and over head which results to my ride being to low on the refrains where I want to hear it.

what am I missing here?

There is no way to control the individual level of each cymbal in EZdrummer. You can do that with Superior Drummer 2.

For a workaround, you can open 2 instances of EZdrummer (one main kit and one for just the ride). Load the first with everything except remove the ride by selecting ‘None’. Then, in the other kit, load only the ride. You can then control the ride in the second instance using the overhead fader in the mixer. Assign both instances to the same MIDI track in your DAW.
