When I drag and drop a midi file from EZKeys to a Cubase 7 midi track in the project window, it automatically creates midi track named “SysEx Data” with a one bar empty midi part. Is there a purpose for this? I usually delete it and the EZKeys midi file still seems to play fine. It’s a bit of an annoyance as it creates a new midi track for SysEx data every time I drag and drop midi from EZKeys into the project window. Maybe it’s a Cubase thing?
