I’ve got an M-Audio Fast Track Pro, FL Studio 10, and EZmix2…Normally I’d just play through my amp, but moving into an apartment soon and won’t really have that option so what I would like to do is play my guitar/bass through FL Studio using EZmix amp simulators. But I’m not 100% sure how to go about doing that.
I’ve got my instrument cable going from my guitar into the M-Audio box and can play it with the sound going through the headphones, and I’ve got EZMIX2 loaded in FL STUDIO, inserted it into the mixer but it still sounds the same no amp simulation going on at all…Is there something special I have to do to be able to play the guitar in real time through EZMIX?
it sounds like you inserted EZmix on something else than the track your guitar signal is routed to.
Check that you can see some activity on the ‘input’ LED in EZmix, but I am pretty sure you’ll find that it does not light up and that what you are hearing is a direct signal going through FL and back out without being routed through EZmix.

Ok yea you’re right, I can hit a string and the signal on the M-Audio box shows the signal is there but there isn’t anything in FL Studio or EZMix2 indicating their is a signal. So now to figure out how to do that
