I just received EZDrummer in the mail today and so far it sounds fantastic. I’m using Sony ACID Music Studio 8.0.
My only problem is that whenever I drop a MIDI track I’ve made myself into the DAW, it immediately crashes, but when I use the built in MIDI tracks I have no issue. I have no idea how to fix this.
Thank you.
Hi,
is this while drag-and-dropping from ‘My MIDIfiles’ in EZdrummer?
Which version number is reported in the EZdrummer plugin interface(lower right corner)?
It should be 1.3.2.

Yeah, it’s from the “My MIDIfiles”.
Says here that it’s 1.3.0. I guess I need to update the software?
Hi Zach,
log in to your Toontrack account and download the 1.3.2 update.

Everything is updated and I’m still having the same issue.
I guess it’s an issue on Sony’s part then, given they ever decide to actually help their customers I’ll be contacting them.
Thanks.
Do you get crashes if you drag-and-drop from the Explorer as well?

Sorry, I guess I misread your question. Yes, I get crashes when dragging from the explorer. I’ll be trying to contact Sony soon.
Yes, that is a good idea. BTW, which OS are you on? Your profile and/or signature doesn’t list your system specs.
One thing I’d try is to (depending on Windows version) right-click the Acid .exe file and select ‘Run as Admin…’

OK, let’s see what Sony has to say but it feels to me like there’s some kind of permission problem writing a temporary file (or similar, I’m not a programmer, though).
