Hi,

After reading tons of stuff, I’m unsure what can I do with this combo.

I have my MPS-600 e-drums connected to Focusrite 18i6 via MIDI and that is connected to Mac and DAW is Garageband.
Recording goes just fine using Garagebands crappy drumsets. I just create software track, select drum pattern and record.

Now I am unsure whether EZ Drummer would work the same way, or is it ment just to be used as a dra-and-drop loop library or can I actually
play and record using EZ drummer sounds?

I am in no way, shape or form, an expert on any of this stuff…but I noticed you’ve gotten no replies and I have used ez drummer with garageband.
You can either method. Drag+Drop from the Ez library or trigger ez drummer with eDrums or tapping it out on a hardware controller. I’ve used an m-audio axiom61, an O2 and my cheap-ass edrum kit to trigger ezdrummer, addictive, superior etc.

doh! just noticed this was posted in Feb…ah well. He’s probably knows much more than the little bit that I do by now. 🙂
