Unfortunately we had to make the difficult decision to withdraw Drumtracker from the market. As of today it will no longer be available to purchase. We will of course continue to give support and help our existing customers to the best of our capability. You will still be able to authorize Drumtracker. We realize that there is a need for a product like Drumtracker however so we will continue to evaluate the possibilities of re-introducing a beat detection software within the context of our portfolio.

Okay….
Can I get a refund of sorts? I got to use it once. before everything (except dt) went 64bit.
I knew in the fine print it stated there is no 64bit support for dt, but being a normal human I naturally assumed there would be an upgrade.
I’ll be happy with ‘toontrack’ credit to put towards some ezmix preset packs or something along those lines.
A reply from toontrack will be appreciated, as you will see I have loads of tt software and consider myself (as do many others) a loyal customer,
I think it would be wise to keep these customers (who purchased a doomed from the beginning product) happy.
It’s a shame, as it was good when it worked.
Dave.
I’m still using it as I’m on XP32.
I was looking forward to seeing what a rework would produce, I now need to look at something else for my workstation upgrade to 64-bit. Come on TT, where are you taking us?

I’ve used it for the past 2 weeks on a project and it has been outstanding (XP operating system). VERY SORRY to hear you’re dropping it.
Problem is…2 of your biggest competitor’s… Steven Slate Drums and Drumagog both offer Drum replacement software.
You should rethink this in order not to lose market share.
Here is an alternative for any Pro Tools user… If I’m correct, they may be working on a VST version as all of their plugins are slowly being converted to VST. Also, they are coming out with AAX versions too… Just my 2 cents…

I wish toontrack would keep Drumtracker going… What a shame. I think Drumtracker is awesome!

I hope someone from Toontrack will chime in… If Drumtracker is going to be discontinued, I seriously hope they would consider 1 last update making Drumtracker 64 bit, so at least we could continue using it… AAX would be great as well. I know there would be alot of work involved and some sort of commitment, but at least it would keep those that purchased it happy 🙂

According to this thread’s title (since February), Drumtracker has been discontinued, including any further developments.

Drumtracker is an application and not a plug-in, so you
wouldn’t need an AAX version of it. Nor would you need
a 64-bit version since 64-bit OS:s can run 32-bit applications.

Hi Scott
I hear and see it just today. I’m very sad to hear about your decision to take this good tool from the market. I don’t understand why when I read this:”We realize that there is a need for a product like Drumtracker…” So I hope you bring a new tool like this in the Future. How you said…..’within the context of our portfolio.’ I think so too and also I think it’s important for some people.
