I’m using EZ Drummer with Reaper and have used it without issues before. I have EZD on track 10 and route the individual tracks 11-16. Now when I try to record the individual tracks ie: kick to 11 snare to 12/13 hh to 14 etc. all that records is the kick channel. All the tracks are armed and show they’ve recorded but there’s no data accept on the kick. The routing is set to go to the different channels but everything is going to the kick – I get all drums on the kick track.
As an example: EZdrummer i/o for snare is set as – send to track 12 (Snare Top) audio: 3/4
And here’s what I have for the “Snare Top”: Parent Channels 1-2, Track Channels 2, MIDI Harware Output: send to original channels, Receive from track 10 “EzDrummer” (16 Channel) audio 3/4. Everything on the kick channel is set the same accept audio is set for 1/2.
What am I missing??
So go into EZ’s mixer and down the bottom where the output numbers are you can assign the outs to multi in a drop down ,you have to do that crucial step.
The midi will all be on the same Midi track which is the kick track.
Heres a photo of mine after selection. If you click in one you will get a drop down.> Select multi out
Did that solve it drsongs?
I can possibly help with the REAPER side of it if you’re still having problems. Post back and I can go through the steps in the routing from EZD to REAPER tracks.
Sounds like you possibly haven’t told the track that EZD sits in that it has more than 2 channels…

DUDE – YOU ROCK!
Thanks – It’s been so long since I’ve used this I completely forgot about that step.
It’s seems vaguely familiar to me now. So did it change because I’m using a different kit?
I had it right last time I used it?
Yes, it resets it when you change kits.
Juicy nailed it. New kit, new routing…
