A copy of EZDrummer Lite came with a Korg nano controller. I installed it, registered it and was up and running. I purchased the upgrade for a great price and registered it. All of this was done on this laptop. Since then, I built a PC that is now my dedicated DAW. I believe everything is installed correctly.
When I open in in Solo, I get the Lite version only. But when I open it in Sonar X2, I get version 1.3.1 (64-bit) and no hint of “Lite” on the interface. But I’m getting nothing from the toms or crash cymbols when I click on the drums – kick/snare/hihat/floor tom/ride are working for me. I tried with with my Cakewalk A-300 Pro and visually it looks like its being triggered, but I get nothing.
But wait, there’s more: (All that follows is when using the mouse exclusively.) The above is the behavior with the Default Kit. With the Basic, I get the above but without the floor tom. I get only a floor tom with the Ambient kit. Even if I select a piece kit for the rack toms or crashes, or for the pices not triggering, still nothing.
Any ideas? Would really love to get one or two EZX packs for Christmas, but not until I can get this straightened out. I already like the drums better than Session Drummer 3 that comes with Sonar X2. But those are working for me.

It would seem that you have both EZdrummer lite and full on your system at the same time. You’ve authorized both versions to the same computer on 11/03/12.
Please uninstall EZdrummer and download the full product installer (the red PC button from you account product page). It should be named ‘TT119_EZdrummer_Lite_Upgrade_WIN.zip’. Apply the 1.3.1 update.
The ‘EZdrummer Lite Korg’ files should not be installed at all.

I have the upgrade version installed (version 1.3.0 and doesn’t say “64 bit” at the bottom right) Also installed Toontrack Solo and the EZX Cocktail that was installed. Everything seems to work fine with Solo.
In Sonar X2, I can add EZDrummer as a vst plugin/synth. But its not finding the sounds.
The dll is in C/Program Files (x86)/VSTPlugins. All the other files are in C/Program Files (x86)/Toontrack. I know this is pedestrian, but I don’t want to go moving stuff around in the wrong places.

Scott, I see the 1.3.1 update in teh downloads section. I’m thinking that’s what you were saying about applying the update. So that’s where I’m at now.

After applying the 1.3.1 update, do you have ‘1.3.1 (64-bit)’ showing as the version number in both Solo and Sonar?

Version 1.3.1 is showing in both. (64 bit) is only showing in Sonar.

Make sure the path in Solo is set to the same location as the one in Sonar. Set the path in Solo from Options->Set Paths…
I assume you are using the 64-bit version of Solo?

I’m almost positive its the 64-bit version of Solo. I’ve shut everything down tonight b/c I have an early morning. I’ll check the Solo and set the path and report back. Thanks for all the help.
