I have Pro Tools 10.2 and EZD/Superior. I can drag grooves onto my EZD track just fine, I can trigger EZD from my keyboard and record “real time” onto the EZD track. What I cannot do now that I used to be able to do is arm my EZD track then open and play a groove from the EZD interface and have it record onto the EZD track. I can hear the sounds and I have tried both multichannel and stereo but it doesnt write midi notes to the track. No other tracks are solo’d. Also when in record mode for the EZD track when I hit record on PT and then play a groove from the EZD interface the groove plays but then stops after a few passes and then picks up again. Weird this only happens when the EZD track is armed to record. This is probably something simple I am doing wrong but I cannot figure it out.
Thanks!
Drew
Hi,
EZdrummer has never been able to output MIDI, so I think you are mixing up EZdrummer with EZplayer Pro.
If the Groove Browser skips beats when slaving to the Timeline, I’d check the H/W Buffer Size. I wouldn’t go higher than 512, preferably lower.
