I recently bought ProTools 10, installed Superior 2.0 which comes with EZPlayerPro. My understanding is I need to have Superior 2.0 and EZPlayerPro on two separate instrument tracks, which I have done, when clicking over the skins in Superior I can hear the individual drums, however when I select a groove in EZPlayerPro I can’t hear a thing. If you can give me some tips as to how to operate EZPlayerPro and Superior 2.0 in ProTools I would very much appreciate it
Thank you
Rodrigo
My first question is always in cases like this, why do you need EZPlayer, when you can simply drag the grooves from the groove browser in SD to the instrument track SD is inserted on in pro tools and use them that way, it is (IMO) the simplest route to take.

Brad,
Thank you for your reply. My SD does not have a Groove tab, I believe some versions do but not all of them and unfortunately mine does not, so I am forced to go to EZPlayerPRo to get the grooves. I previously used EZDrummer which was way more user friendly and in that case I did exactly what you suggested, for some reason they decided to do away with that feature in SD 2.0.

Update to the latest SD, it does have a groove tab….right next to the “mixer” tab… really.
