My first question is always in cases like this, why do you need EZPlayer, when you can simply drag the grooves from the groove browser in SD to the instrument track SD is inserted on in pro tools and use them that way, it is (IMO) the simplest route to take.

Mac Studio M1 Max, RAM 64 GB, 1TB Drive, OSX 12.x/13.x and Windows 10 (VM)
DAW: Studio One Pro (always up to date)
DTX Express III (Extreme triggers), Nektar LX88
    OWC Thunderbay Mini (4 X 1TB Sata SSD), Express 4M2 (4 X 2TB M.2 SSD), Envoy Express (1TB M.2 SSD)
Presonus Quantum, Faderport & Faderport 8
    Black Lion Sparrow Mk2 A/D, FMR-RNP-RNC, MIDI Xpress 128, BM5A, KRK VXT4, Equator D5
    2020 Macbook Pro 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD Audio(mobile rig)

    Brad,

Thank you for your reply. My SD does not have a Groove tab, I believe some versions do but not all of them and unfortunately mine does not, so I am forced to go to EZPlayerPRo to get the grooves. I previously used EZDrummer which was way more user friendly and in that case I did exactly what you suggested, for some reason they decided to do away with that feature in SD 2.0.

Update to the latest SD, it does have a groove tab….right next to the “mixer” tab… really.

You are a savior my friend…….I found the problem, I was installing the 64 bit instead of the 32, which is why my upgrade to 2.3 didn’t take the first time

    THANK YOU

    Rodrigo
