So I am trying to install EZ Drummer. I just bought it and at the point where I need to install it from the installer. But the message I get is Error 1309. It says I have an error reading it from the file. I bought it online at Sweetwater btw. And when I click Retry it doesn’t do anything. So I can’t figure out what is going on. Help please?
See this FAQ about the Error 1309:

Ok, on my computer I go to Downloads, then EZ Drummer, but there is nothing anywhere that is a zip file. I tried downloading the program twice. Still nothing. There is nothing that is a zip file so there is nothing to extract. I downloaded the program from the Toontrack website. Btw, I am running a Sony Vaio with Windows 7 64 bit.
The file downloaded from the Toontrack website is named TT106_EZdrummer_WIN.zip
Right-click on the file and select ‘Extract All’.
Perhaps W7 is not set to show file extensions on your computer.

windows 7 doesnt do right click to extract…maybe you should be a little more technically trained instead of giving old/wrong operating system advice…sorry if i offended you btu we as customers spend our money to have these kinds of amateur/bad business problems when the MAJORITY of new systems being sold are win7 and people give us information that is a couple of years old that doesnt even begin to show TECHNICAL expertise….makes it hard to trust you btu i garantee visa will stop charges on a bogus purchase due to customer NO service
I don’t know what you’re on about micah.morris but W7 does absolutely do right click to extract.
Here’s a pic of my Right-click on .zip file menu on my W7 64-bit computer (see below).
In addition, here’s a page from Microsoft on how to unzip compressed files if you don’t believe me as I’m not ‘technically trained’.
