Hi All!
I’m new here, so hopefully I’m not posting in the wrong place. So, I’ve done some recording in the past few years with my drummer in the old demo version of Addictive Drums (I never could totally pull the plug on buying it), and have tried to use Ezplayer pro to convert some of those great drum recordings to Ezplayer, but nothing is even remotely coming out right.
I’m using Sonar 8, and saving my project as a midi file and then dragging it into the ezplayer window. From there, I’m selecting “Addictive Drums” under the Midi Wrap section, with midi from ezplayer routed to Ezdrummer. The drums are haphazard and don’t match what they should be at all. I realize I’m somewhat new to Ezplayer, but I’m not a newb in the recording world at all and i’m wondering what i might be doing to mess this up. Any ideas?
Thanks!
-Joe
Hi,
sorry for missing this.
It sounds to me as if you are wrapping to AD instead of from.
You need to put your old AD MIDI in a folder on your hard drive and mount this in EZplayer Pro, where you also specify the Input format as AD.
When that is done, the drums should map correctly without any further tweaks when dragged from the EZplayer Pro Browser.

John
