EZdrummer is a plugin that is loaded in your host workstation (Pro Tools, Cubase, Sonar, etc).

Thanks Scott, totally new to this. Im using with Pro Tools (also new to that) any idea how Id launch from within Pro Tools ?

I don’t use Pro Tools but I think you need to create a stereo Instrument track and insert EZdrummer there.

Yep.
Do you have a guide to Pro Tools?
You need to create a virtual instrument track and select EZdrummer from the pull down menu on the track

With protools, will he need a VST wrapper (PT does not natively support VST) or does that come with the install??

There are VST, AU, and RTAS versions for EZD.

I’ll wind my neck in then, didn’t know that. Are there PT versions for SD too? Don’t remember being asked that while installing it (mind you, that was a bit of a fraught install ).

Yes, same version types as EZD are available for S2.

I think unless you option for a custom install, all 3 formats (AU, RTAS and VST) will be installed automatically.
