This morning I bought the “songwriters drum pack” but I do not have ez drummer or any other toontrack software. Is this going to be a problem? Thank you.
Toontrack MIDI packs are designed to work with Toontrack samplers (EZdrummer, S2). They utilize Toontrack’s GM extended mapping so using them with other samplers is hit or miss and not recommended.
Will I have an installation problem if I purchase EZdrummer. I just want to make sure that since I bought the songwriters drumpack and installed it first that it would still show up properly after the EZdrummer purchase.
I’m not quite sure where the MIDI pack would install without having EZdrummer installed first. Does the MIDI pack list in your Program and Features (if you’re on Windows 7)? You can uninstall it, install EZdrummer, and then re-install the MIDI pack.
